“Volunteers are not paid because they are worthless. Volunteers are not paid because they are priceless.”
~ Sherry Anderson
This quote is so true! Volunteers are an integral part of St. Mary’s. We are asking your help in considering volunteering at our school.
St. Mary’s School is currently looking for:
Classroom Volunteers
Teacher’s Aide
Duties: You will come in to work all day as a, “substitute” for a teacher’s aide in a classroom. NO license required.
If you are interested in any of these opportunities we will be having a “group meeting” for all who can attend to take a required online “Safe Environment” training in our computer lab on, Monday, Sept. 24th from 8:15-11:00. If you would like to do the training on your own, you can gladly pick up a flyer at St. Mary’s School or go online at https://www.st-marys.pvt.k12.ia.us/ under “Trainings” and it will direct you to the “Safe Environment” online site for you to register.
We welcome grandparents, retirees, and any other parishioners who would like to make a difference in our school. If you know of any one else who would like to volunteer, please contact Mrs. Bromley or Mrs. Lammers, or our office secretary, Judy Mullis. Thank you in advance for your help. We are so grateful for your time and generosity!
Thank you so much!
