Magic Match

Area businesses and individuals partner with classrooms at St. Mary's School through a program called MAGIC Match. This yearly program assists in the education of our students and provides enrichment activities or materials that further enhance their learning experience. All areas of the curriculum are covered including CORE subjects, music, art, physical education, technology, etc. This special program also benefits the school office, principal, kitchen, and Extended Care.

Classrooms often use these funds to pay for field trips or other programs/projects outside of the regular curricula. Specials teachers (art, technology, music, PE) use these funds to make sure their supplies and devices are up to date and relevant for our students. 

The kitchen staff benefit from these funds as they help purchase updated equipment and supplies to keep our lunch program running smoothly and safely. The school office is able to purchase the necessary equipment needed to operate as a nursing station,  secretarial space, etc. Extended care utilizes their Magic Match funds to make sure they are DHHS compliant and safely able to take care of students before/after school. Lastly, the principal uses these funds to further enhance the mission of our school by purchasing every staff member a shirt with the school year's theme, community outreach, etc.
